FAQs
How many musicians can attend?
Up to 24 musicians can be part of any single orchestra. We like to have a minimum of 12 musicians.
How long is the experience?
We ask that you expect one hour. Performances usually run 50 minutes.
What do I need to be a musician in The Adjacent Possible?
A laptop or desktop with a good internet connection and Zoom installed. The experience is also viable on a more recent mobile - but you will likely need to use your data plan.
Your best pair of headphones (we don’t use your microphone so ditch your earbuds if you can)
A quiet place where you won’t be subject to the hazardous interruptions of modern life
Do I need musical experience to participate?
Absolutely not. We are all born musicians here.
I am an introvert.
So are we! The Adjacent Possible does not use your microphone or camera. All participants are anonymous. This is intended to be a creative, renewing, and safe experience for anyone.
Shows are all booked. What can I do?
Get on our email list to get first notice of new shows. Also, use our waitlist feature. Go to the Performances tab. Select the show you wish to attend and click on the “wait list” link. This will allow you to get on the waitlist. It works!
